Each watershed was divided into three hillslopes by the GeoWEPP program and both models were tested using these hillslopes. The hillslopes are labeled based on their location relative to one another (North, South, West and East). The hillslope labels correspond to the site diagrams. The following table gives values of the measured surface parameters from the first year after each fire. The consecutive years of surface data were estimated based on recovery of the soil and vegetation after disturbance based on the hydrologic/suface condition (see thesis Accuracy assessment of WEPP-based erosion models on three small, harvested and burned forest watersheds for estimates and a more detailed description of the process).
