Elliot, W.J.; Foltz, R.b.; Luce, C.H. 1993. Validation of the WEPP model for forest roads. Presented at the 1993 ASAE International Winter Meeting, December 14-17, 1993, Chicago, IL. ASAE.

Keywords: WEPP, forest roads, erosion prediction

Abstract: Runoffs and erosion rates observed on forest road erosion plots were compared to values predicted by the WEPP version 93.1 Runoffs were closely predicted for most soils. Interrill erosion rates were slightly overpredicted when using cropland interrill prediction methods. Rill erosion rates for wheel ruts were closely predicted from rangeland methods.
