Abstract: For many years, research has been ongoing to relate soil erosion to productivity. Most research has focused on agricultural or rangeland conditions. Research on the effects of soil erosion on forest productivity is limited. This paper will provide an overview of current knowledge on the effects of forest management on soil erosion, and related onsite impacts, and the effects of those impacts on forest productivity.
