Slope Stability Models

LISA - Level I Stability Analysis

LISA predicts the probability of natural slope failure for use in relative stability assessments. LISA predictions are based on a Monte Carlo simulation of the infinite slope equation.

DLISA - Deterministic Level I Stability Analysis

DLISA calculates the infinite slope equation or backcalculates for a variety of unknowns.

XSTABL

XSTABL, a modification of Purdue University's STABL, can perform a number of slope stability analyses. XSTABL is a commercial product for which the Forest Service has a license.
