BAER Treatment Monitoring Sites
Medicine Tree Site -- Bitterroot National Forest
The Medicine Tree/Valley Complex paired watershed site was installed in 2000 to measure the effectiveness of
contour-felled log erosion barriers in reducing post-fire hillslope runoff and erosion.
This site operated continuously until 2006, at which time it was dismantled and removed.
